It all started with a video, on the internet, that wife sent me one day.
The "Lifehouse Everything Skit".

Actually it started much before that, so lets start over.
My name is Clayton Quinnell, I am a born again Christian, I have served 13 months in Montana State Prison, 6 months in Butte Pre-Release, and I am on probation with the state of Montana until February 2013. Before going to prison I used drugs, women, alcohol, and other "things" to fill that hole in my heart. When I was arrested, that night I found Christ in my jail cell. I always knew about Christ, just wouldn't turn my life over to him, I thought I had it all under control.
After leaving Montana State Prison I went to the Butte Pre-Release. This is where I met Dr. Mark Redwine at the Butte Church of Nazarene. We quickly became friends, and he showed me what it was like to live a christian life. Mark runs his own ministry, Seed International where I became his webmaster.
After 6 months in the Butte Pre Release, I returned to Havre Montana, the town I grew up in, and started my life over. I ran into an old friend of mine, Jamie Smartt, we started to hang out together and then began dating. We got married June 2nd, 2007 (Dr. Mark Redwine was my best man). Jamie and her family are Christians, and they showed me the true love of a Christian family.

Fast forward to Oct/Nov 2007, Jamie sends me The "Lifehouse Everything Skit". I watched it and I was so moved by the message. I tracked down where the video came from, contacted the church and bought a copy of the DVD. December 23rd, 2007 I took a copy of this DVD to MCDC (a state run Rehab center in Butte Montana) and Connections Corrections (a department of corrections run rehab center) and showed it to the people who were in the center. Thus Blue Harvest Ministries was born.

However, I didn't know it yet... October 2008, my wife again, sends me a link to a Christian rapper on myspace, and I find a video on his myspace page "The Prodigal Son". After watching this video, I decided that I needed to get this on a DVD too, and then the true idea of Blue Harvest Ministries was born.

The name...

Blue Harvest Ministries name comes from: Blue Harvest was the title of the film ruse used to ensure secrecy and disguise the 1981 – 1983 production of Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi.
I am a huge Star Wars fan.
Also the second meaning is: Dr. Mark Redwine's ministry Seed International, when I met Dr. Mark, he planted a seed in me, that is now blooming. It is time for the Harvest.
Thus Blue Harvest.
